Whye Kee learnt pottery towards the end of a decade spent in prison. He went on to graduate with a degree in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, and to develop community initiatives to help ex-inmates rebuild their lives and youth at risk. He founded Qi Pottery in 2015, and currently makes tea wares for a living.
